Peach and Daisy are best friends. But, they are also cousions. This was stated in the Mario Kart: Double Dash guide.

They also have some good chemistry in the Mario Baseball Series. In Mario Super Sluggers Wii, they are put on the same team for challenge mode. 

In fact, Daisy was once named Peach. Even Princess Toadstool.

Luigi and Daisy are like the couple of a lifetime, but they don't know it.  Daisy likes Luigi and Luigi likes Daisy. The only conflict is that they wont tell eachother.

Some gossip happened about them actually in her apperence in the Mario Golf. It states that "Some gossips started portraying her as Luigi's answer to Mario's Peach."

There is another clue that gives you hints that Daisy likes Luigi. The statues at Daisy Circut on Mario Kart Wii kind of clues you in. They are of Daisy and Luigi as themselves and as babies.

Personality

Daisy is known to be a tomboy. She can be described as energetic, cheerful, and confident. Daisy has a strong competitive drive, and in the face-of-defeat, she has shown hotheadedness, though most of the time she shows just disappointment and at other times, even optimism. She also has a sassy side, and in the past, she has shown-off to get her way. She is also prone to air-kisses during victory celebrations.

You can tell that Princess Daisy's personality is very unique. For instance, she is a tomboy but she is a princess.

You can tell that her favorite color is orange by just looking at her. She also loves flowers! I mean loves flowers!

Some people think that she is the loudest Mario character, but News Flash! She isn't the loudest and most annoying character! The loudest character is Baby Daisy and the most annoying characters are Wario and Waluigi.
